Youngsville Super League Playoffs
The playoffs this year set the bar high as Real Juventus (#3 seed) and Q-Tips (#4 seed) made an interesting final after having to beat out seeds 5 & 6 in a playoff and go on to upset seeds 1 & 2 (#1 Net 6 & Chilli lost out in PKS by #4 Q-Tips). Real Juventus' third game of the day was a rollercoaster with Q-Tips. Jesus Martinez scored a free kick to give them the lead before the League's D1 golden boot Emerson tied it up for Q-Tips. Q-Tips held off till the late 2nd half before Emerson showed up again with the help of teammates to win 3-1.
League Director Brian Martínez wraps this season with the following:
I am glad and proud to see this league grow and this is thanks more to the players who come out to enjoy the beautiful game
This season was the best I have seen so far and can not wait to see the following season as I am sure more teams are becoming interested in joining the league
Spring season is set to play the Sunday following Mardi Gras!
